We publish our newsletter four times a year (March, June, September, and December) to strengthen the Sasakawa Fellows network and promote closer connections among its members. The newsletter is distributed not only to Sasakawa Fellows but also to individuals and organizations engaged in maritime affairs, including WMU.
The newsletter includes the following sections:

A: Updates from the Sasakawa Fellowship Program

  • Award ceremonies for new Sasakawa Fellows

B: Fellows’ Activities
  • Participation in international conferences
  • Fellows’ gatherings and networking activities

C: Contributions from Experts
  • Messages and articles from the IMO Secretary-General, WMU President, and other distinguished specialists

D: Articles from Sasakawa Fellows
  • Essays and opinion pieces
  • Career updates (e.g., promotions)
  • Personal milestones (e.g., marriage, birth announcements)
  • In memoriam

We warmly welcome article submissions. If you have content you would like to share, please feel free to send it to us. All submissions will be reviewed prior to publication. We may also invite Sasakawa Fellows and maritime professionals to contribute articles on selected topics.
